We are dedicated to implementing various programs and initiatives that aim to uplift and support our community. Our efforts are focused on community conservation, education, and policy advocacy to ensure the sustainable development of Lucasville.
Heritage Mapping
We are actively documenting historic homes, landmarks, and burial sites throughout Lucasville to preserve our rich African Nova Scotian history.
Policy Advocacy
We actively engage in advocating for environmental and community-friendly policies that contribute to the long-term well-being of Lucasville and its residents.
Transit and
Road Safety
We are advocating for safer, more accessible transit options in and out of Lucasville. This includes pushing for bus routes and sidewalks.
Egress
Planning
We are looking to address the lack of alternate exits in Lucasville. With only one main road, we need a comprehensive emergency egress plan to ensure the safety of residents in case of natural disasters or road closures.

Apartments!
We are working to put regulations in place that require developers to connect with the community before any permits are approved. Large-scale apartment buildings do not align with the vision or character of Lucasville.
